I’ve been very interested in nutrition, exercise and health for five years.
During this time, I’ve read hundreds of scientific studies, many books and countless articles by doctors, scientists and professors in various fields.
What I quickly noticed is that the conventional wisdom circling around about nutrition is often the exact opposite of what the science reveals.
I’ve also noticed that official nutritional guidelines for the general public seem rather in line with conventional wisdom than actual science.
The main goal with this website is to educate people on how to eat and exercise in order to gain optimal health, based on the latest, cutting-edge science.
I want to decipher the scientific jargon and present it in human terms, that anyone can read.
I believe that people are entitled to the truth about the food they are eating, so that they can make informed decisions about their own and their family’s health.
It is especially important to change both public and professional views on these matters:
- Saturated fat does not cause heart disease and is an appropriate source of energy for humans. Foods that naturally contain saturated fat tend to be healthy and nutritious.
- Low-carbohydrate diets are the most effective way to reverse the metabolic syndrome and its symptoms, including obesity and type II diabetes.
- Low-carbohydrate diets are the most effective, easiest and healthiest way to lose weight.
