51 Free, delicious and healthy Protein Powder Recipes

In this article I am going to outline some free protein powder recipes.

I love protein powder and I have had some regularly for the past few years. Chocolate is my favorite, but strawberry and vanilla are pretty good too.

It is true that athletes and individuals who work out do need quite a bit of protein per day to ensure muscle gain and optimal recovery.

However, that’s not the real reason why I love protein powder recipes so much. I also enjoy the taste and I enjoy the texture it gives when mixed with other things.

Protein Powder Recipes

First, I am going to outline my favorite recipe.

It takes only about 2-3 minutes to make, and it is both healthy and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Organic full-fat yogurt (no sugar)
  • 1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Flakes
  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Blueberries

Instructions: Mash banana into a bowl. Pour yogurt on top and mix. Insert a scoop of protein powder and 1/4 cup of coconut flakes, then mix. Finally, insert frozen blueberries and mix. Eat and enjoy.

  • Instructions: blend in food processor until it reaches a doughy consistency. Add small amount of water if needed. Line a bread pan in waxed paper and press it in. Once the shape is correct, remove the pan and slice into bars. Makes 12 protein bars.

Conclusion

Personally, I don’t recommend people eat a ton of these treats. It is a much better option to eat real food, such as meat, fish eggs, vegetables, some fruit, etc.

But having some treats every now and then, with protein powder and some natural ingredients is certainly a much better option than the sugar-laden candies and pastries people eat.

So on birthdays and rare occasions, these are definitely a good option.

  1. Downloaded the report a few days ago and tried about 4 or 5 of the recipe’s and they were all fantastic. If anyone wants a healthy and tasty treat make sure you download that report above.

  2. These recipes look awesome … gonna have to give them a try! Thanks for bringing this report to my attention Kris.

  3. I have used protein powder in the past and really liked it, however for the past two years I have tried to eliminate preservatives and artificial ingredients and threw my protein powder away because it was filled with them. I was looking at all the protein powders available at Target and all of them had artificial flavorings or sweeteners in them, not to mention a bunch of other stuff I don’t want to eat! Do you recommend a powder that does not contain harmful ingredients?

I use the MRM brand, has hardly no sugar or carbs and sweetened with stevia… nothing bad in this one!

  4. Kris I’ll have to look up your Prograde protein powder – was going to ask what brand you used.

Shea – I have problems digesting a lot of the more inexpensive protein powders – but have had wonderful luck with Unjury – they’re made with whey protein isolate only and I get no dietary backlash from it at all – add in they have both an unflavored version AND a chicken soup flavor (I think I cried when a friend handed me a cup to try after a weight loss meeting I was SO sick of sweet things at that point)

They have still got sucralose and aspertamne in them – but not in high quantities. to date I have tried everything BUT the chocolate flavors and the cheese sauce (can only get the cheese sauce seasonally – but come November, I’m planning on it! I should be healed from my bypass surgery so my son and I can torment my wife while we eat cheese covered veggies with evil laughs.
